The words “Big government” meant that the government was overreaching its authority and was becoming all-consuming in our individual lives. The government has expanded at various levels in our cities, counties, states, and nation in the last three decades. But now, not only are families battling “Big Government,” but Big Corporations as well.
Who could have imagined that corporations like Coca-Cola and Disney would become such a threat to families? In the years gone by, Corporations employed thousands of people with excellent salaries and benefits that aided the middle-class family. Instead of assisting the middle class, corporations are aiding and abetting progressive, left-wing activists that have invaded the boardrooms. These activists use these companies through cohesion to turn people in the workforce against each other. Corporations still employ thousands of people but have become slaves/employees to their masters/employers. Employees who disagree with the DEI ideology that corporations have installed can be terminated instantly. Just saying a wrong sentence in a workforce environment can have dire consequences.
Human resources are no longer for problems with the workers themselves. These departments corral workers into Critical Race Theory and LGBQT lectures. People in these corporations must comply or find work elsewhere. Many families do not have that option, so they are ordered to sign off on rules and regulations that have nothing to do with the efficiency and productivity of the work.
According to Fox Business, “Disney, Coca-Cola, American Express, Bank of America, Lowe's and Pfizer faced accusations that they trained employees on certain "woke" ideas, such as putting "marginalized" staff above "privileged" staff, learning to "decolonize" their minds" and combating aspects of an alleged "White supremacy culture," such as perfectionism, individualism, and objectivity. In training, the outside consulting firm Paradigm urged Amex employees to construct their own intersectional identities, mapping their "race, sexual orientation, body type, religion, disability status, age, gender identity [and] citizenship" on an official company worksheet. Employees could then determine whether they have "privilege" or are members of a "marginalized group." Whites, males, heterosexual people, Christians, able-bodied people, and citizens would presumably count as "privileged." The training sessions also warned White employees to avoid certain phrases, such as "I don't see color," "We are all human being,s" and "Everyone can succeed in this society if they work hard enough," as "microaggressions." https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/major-corporations-woke-trainings-exposed-in-2021
Why did corporate America go in this direction? According to Conn Carrol, Economists Nicolai Foss of the Copenhagen Business School and Peter Klein of Baylor University think they have the answer: have the answer: middle managers. Foss and Klein first note that there is no evidence that executives or the broader public have suddenly signed on to the woke agenda. Nor is there any evidence that woke corporations outperform unwoke corporations. There is some evidence the opposite is true. But middle managers, particularly human resources managers, are “particularly likely to possess the ability, opportunity, and motivation” to push companies toward wokeness. Woke agendas, especially so-called "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion "initiatives, are natural HR functions that can expand the authority of HR professionals and entrench their power.

The other problem for families dealing with corporations is that the corporations have incredible power and no accountability. They answer to no one. Many legislators answer to them. Many corporations have sold out the American family for cheaper labor in other nations. These corporations bow to countries like China and will side with foreign interests over American interests. They also use their power and wealth to silence the opinions of those who oppose their ideology. The tech giants shadow-ban, remove and persecute people under the guise of hate speech and racism. Many corporations are against family values and traditional marriage. They market their products in a direction that opposes conservative values.
What can we do:
Stop buying their products
Email your legislators about taxing the uber-rich that are selling us out to other nations like China’s CCP.
If you are in top management in a corporation, defend employees against injustice.
Join in with boycotts when asked to do so
Report and let the public know when you spot corporations over-reaching and abusing our fundamental rights of free speech and religion
